Computer training for Medical Officers of Kerala at IMG

The Department of homoeopathy has arranged a “Computer Training Programme” at IMG (Institute of management in Government) Regional Centre at Kakkanad Kochi. Newly appointed doctors and doctors not trained in computers were selected for the training. Doctors from various districts from Ernakulam, Idukki, Palakad and Thrissur attended the training program. The Training was given by Shri Sreekumar the programmer at IMG.

Homeopathic clinics for Pet Care

Homeopathic clinics chain Dr Batra's today forayed into the pet care by launching its first homeopathy cum veterinary hospital in the city of Delhi. Dr Batra's Pet Care was inaugurated by noted animal activist and Member of Parliament Maneka Gandhi, who has also helped the group in designing the veterinary hospital. "We are planning to open our next multi-speciality veterinary hospital in Mumbai in 2015 and Bangalore in South by 2016. 

RAECH-Training at Kottayam,Kerala

One day training program by RAECH-Rapid Action Epidemic Control Cell Homoeopathy was conducted at D.C.Books Auditorium at Kottayam today (15.1.2014). All the medical officers of Govt. of Kerala from the four Districts, Ernakulam , Idduki, Pathanamthitta and Kottayam attended the training program. 

This is the second training program conducted this year by the Department of homoeopathy, Govt. of kerala. The first one was at Trivandrum.

Representatve members (doctors) from various organisation like IHK, and IHMA also attended the training.There were about 150 doctors who were trained by informative classes by the experts of the RAECH team.

Homeopathic doctors to prescribe allopathic medicines

A mid much opposition, the State cabinet on Thursday passed the Medical Education department’s controversial proposal to allow homeopathic doctors to prescribe allopathic medicines, after completing a year-long course in Pharmacology at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. Congress ministers including Suresh Shetty and Nitin Raut, as well as R R Patil of the Nationalist Congress Party, opposed the proposal vehemently.

CCH will not allow the Homeopathy students to practice Allopathy

CCH (Central Council of Homeopathy) is an apex body which comes under the Ministry of Health & Family welfare. It is established in 1973 by Government of India. All the decisions regarding Homeopathy will be taken by this council. For medical qualification in homeopathy any university or institute need to apply for this council.
From Past several days doctors were demanding CCH to including some of the Allopathy subjects in Homeopathy. Doctors who were demanding for Allopathy subjects were stating that it will be easily if any person wants to shift the course from Homeopathy to Allopathy course. Doctors also demanded to introduce a short term Allopathy course after the completion of Homeopathy course.

CCH will inspect 102 homeopathy medical colleges across the country

Central Council of Homeopathy will inspect 102 homeopathy medical colleges across the country before February 15, to ascertain the availability of teachers, equipment, accommodation, training and other facilities as specified in Homeopathy Regulations. 

 Ramjee Singh, president, CCH (which comes under the Union Health Ministry) said here that after receiving inspection reports, CCH will submit its report and recommendations to the Central Government. Singh was here to attend, as the chief guest, a seminar on homeopathy, organised by Jawaharlal Nehru Homeopathy Medical College, Ahmedabad Homeopathy Medical College and Rajkot Homeopathy Medical College yesterday.

262 Homoepathic doctors required at Chhattisgarh NRHM

State health Resource centre Chhattisgarh invite application for making a health team for schools in 146 Blocks of the state under NRHM for Rashtriya Bal Sastya Karyakram (RBSK).The requirements are for doctors(male/female) , pharmacist and ANM nurses.

New super specialty cancer hospital for Gujarat sanctioned by central government

Ghulam Nabi Azad ,Union minister for health and family welfare declared that the central government has sanctioned new super specialty cancer hospital for Gujarat during his one-day visit to the state. Azad said that in the past nine years of UPA government, Gujarat got Rs 4,164 crore grant from Health and Family Welfare Ministry. The current financial year alone the state has been given Rs 608 crore. 

We have sanctioned a super specialty cancer hospital for Gujarat along with 20 other states. He said that total of 951 works were sanctioned under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) which include 404 new construction works including 323 sub centers. Total of 136 primary health centres, 18 community health centres, 27 sub-district/divisional hospitals have been developed under the NRHM. Azad claimed that a total of 547 renovation and up-gradation works were also completed.
