The first Ayush Holistic Centre in Kerala

The first Ayush Holistic Centre in the state will be inaugurated at Poonthura on Friday. Ayush is short for Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy and the centre will have all these medical systems under it. Health Minister V S Sivakumar will inaugurate the centre at 11.30 am at a function presided over by Mayor K Chandrika. 

The Ayush Holistic Centre is a joint initiative of the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation and the Health Department. In the first phase, the centre will offer treatments under the Ayurveda, Siddha, Homoeopathy and Unani systems. Several medical systems under one umbrella will enable the cross-referring of patients to the suitable treatment and also the patients will be able to pick and choose, Ayush Kerala Medical Association office-bearers told a press conference here.
