(SFI) has demanded removal of Devesh Deval from the post of Mission
Director, National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) over alleged charges of
deceitfully misusing funds. Addressing media persons at its office at
Paona Bazaar today, Th Mocha, President, SFI, Manipur State Council,
asserted that implementation of NRHM has become a complete failure on
account of poor administrative ability of Devesh Deval and his insincere
attitude towards implementation of the scheme.
There have been various Mission Directors of NRHM in the state, but such insincere attitude and unprofessional attitude was never witnessed, he added. Mocha further alleged that Devesh Deval has been giving away the salaries of the NRHM staffs at his own disposal.
The staffs are divided into Management Support Staff and Technical Support Staff at the time of paying their salaries violating the norms and pay structures of the Finance Department.
He has also been cheating the staffs by using one Performance Base Honorarium strategy which is introduced by himself. The student body has also submitted a nine-point memorandum to the Chief Minister, Home Minister, Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary of Health and Family Welfare in this regard. source:Hueiyen News Service
