Why James Randi will not give the one million dollar !

The facts about an ingenious homeopathic experiment that was not completed due to the “tricks” of Mr. James Randi.

AYUSH Ministry to enter into a agreement with WHO and United States

To popularize AYUSH system of medicine across the world, the ministry will enter into an agreement with WHO and a partnership with United States for research in AYUSH medicines for treatment of cancer. AYUSH minister Shripad Yesso Naik said that AYUSH is a very important sector and it should be propagated worldwide. To popularise AYUSH system of medicine across the world, the AYUSH Ministry is entering into an agreement with the WHO. MoUs have already been signed with several countries for bilateral cooperation in the field of traditional medicine .

AYUSH ministry asks state Ayush deptartments to utilise the funds under NAM by March 31,2016

The Ayush ministry has asked the state Ayush departments to utilise the funds released during 2014-15 under National Ayush Mission (NAM) by the government and submit the Utilisation Certificate (UC) of Grant-In-Aid (GIA) before March 31, 2016. 

The Ayush ministry has clarified that only those states/UTs government which submit the UCs of GIA released in 2014-15 are eligible for availing the financial assistance under NAM for the year 2016-17.

29.73 crore is provided in the New Budget for strengthening Homeopathy in Kerala

Sri.Oommen Chandy,Hon'ble Chief Minister of Kerala presented the Kerala Budget for 2016-17 before the Kerala Legislative Assembly on 12 th February 2016.

A total outlay of Rs.19.83 crore is provided for the strengthening of the Homeopathy Department. Homoeo dispensaries will be started in 42 Grama Panchayaths where having no homoeo dispensary.

Mr. R was brought to me in an auto rickshaw. He was not in a position to walk, hence his son and wife were supporting him to enter my consultation room.

Before one week, he had gone to a coldest place in south India for a pilgrimage. While returning, he developed pain and swelling of the left leg. He had heaviness of legs with cramp like pain. The whole leg below the knee was swollen and painful. Due to continuous friction of boots, he also got a sore vesicle which finally became ulcerated. Emotional Stress linked to PCOS

According to a study conducted by Homeopathic Research Foundation — a not-for-profit organization working in the city of Lucknow,India,-'Emotional Stress' is the cause of disease in every third patient of Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS).

Emotional stress triggers hormonal imbalance in women to cause problems like PCOS," said Dr Girish Gupta, principal researcher and homeopathy practitioner whose work has been recognized by the ministry of AYUSH. The "connection" between PCOS and emotional stress came to fore when the researchers studied the impact of homeopathic medicines on the treatment of PCOS.
