Foundation stone laying ceremony of New Homoeopathy Directorate, Homoeopathy Pharmacy College and New Ladies hostel at Govt Homoeopathy Medical College,Iranimuttam Trivandrum was done by Kerala Health Minister Smt Shailaja Teacher on 14.09.2017.
The Minister said that 41 lacs has already been sanctioned for the construction.Minister assured that 49 new Homoeopathy dispensaries would be started in those panchayaths which do not have them and new posts will be created soon.
This 5 storied building will be completed at the earliest by spending 17.5 crore. The
Three stories of the building with 1982 sqm. will be homoeopathy pharmacy college constructed using 8.25 crore
and 1893 sqm will be used for new ladies hostel using 9.35 crore
She also emphasized the recent hike of the stipend of Interns to 20,000.
The minister also said that a 62 Crore project for the development of HOMCO will be done in the coming year sand every district will have a "Model Hospital" with all required facilities
